- The revamp of AJ Foyt Racing for 2017 will include a switch from Honda to Chevrolet, the team confirmed today.Since Chip Ganassi Racing revealed it would switch from the Ilmor-built engines to HPD supply in 2017, it has been one of IndyCars worst-kept secrets that Foyts team would be going the other way, running Chevrolet units for the first time since 2005.The Texas- and Indiana-based team will also include a thoroughly revised engineering lineup, and a complete driver change, as Carlos Munoz and Conor Daly have replaced Takuma Sato and Jack Hawksworth.

- As has been speculated since late last year, AJ Foyt Racing announced today that it will compete with Chevrolet engines and aero kits for its two ABC Supply entries in the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series.It is a reunion for team owner A.J.Foyt, whose last race as an In dy car driver came with Chevy power at the 1992 Indianapolis 500 (shown at left) and whose Verizon IndyCar Series team ran Chevrolet engines as recently as 2005 with grandson A.J.
